I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I work with adults and families experiencing crises or looking for change.
I focus on clients' individual resources and strengths, utilizing everything she/he brings to the session. During the session clients can experience and feel something new which changes their perspective and can be utilized in everyday life. I look at the person through her/his family context and dynamics, because we are all a part of the system we grew up in and we currently live in. I adapt the methods to the capabilities and needs of each given person always forming a unique approach.
I have experience living abroad and maintaining intercultural social contacts. I speak English fluently.
I have experience working in an international business company, which allows me to have a good understanding of this area and the problems related to it.
I am member of Polish Psychiatric Association. I work under the supervision of certified supervisors and adhere to Psychotherapist's Code of Ethics.

Therapy is often a matter of tipping the first domino.
Change will lead to insight far more often than insight will lead to change.
M. H. Erickson
My preferred and core working approach is Ericksonian Psychotherapy (founded by Milton H. Erickson) and Systemic Psychotherapy. I combine them also with: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), cognitive-behavioural methods, hypnosis, dream work, and work with the inner child (transactional analysis).
Why Ericksonian Psychotherapy?
-
We focus on your future goals instead of your past (although we can look there and use it in a positive way).
-
You don't have to understand everything before you act and change something.
-
Methods of working with the subconscious, such as hypnosis, metaphor, dream work, and constellations, will allow you to get in a better contact with yourself, thanks to which you will activate your intuition, inner wisdom, and the resources that you already have within you.
-
The therapist tailors the way of responding to you and sees you as a unique person instead of putting you into a theoretical or diagnostical frame.
-
The problem/symptom is considered in the context of your current or former family situation.
-
Impatient to see the changes? We can start working from the first session.
Soon I will post blog articles on the Ericksonian approach, stay tuned!
